The First Permanent Images (Daguerreotype, Emulsion Plates, Dry Plates)  were important because the permanent image has defined the genre to this day, and opened up opportunities for a new medium Camera For Everyone  was important because it opened up the genre for everyone, and allowed anyone who could afford the camera participate in the art form The Horrors of War  were important because it showed the versatility of the camera, it brought a new aspect to photography, information through photos.
