Landscape and Cityscape

What is the difference between Landscape and Cityscape photography? A cityscape focuses on man made objects, whereas a Landscape depicts nature
What is panorama/panoramic photography? A panorama is a wide angled photo that allows more of the subject to fit in. Panoramic Photography is the practice of taking panoramic photos
What is the Golden Hour?  The time of the where the sun is setting or rising causing redder skies
What is the Blue Hour? The time where the sun is low causing bluer skies




LANDSCAPE: 

5 Tips:

 Use the best light
Carry a tripod
Maximize Depth of Field
Never Settle
Location, Location,Location

 Where are you going to go?  Wakefield, MI
What will be your focal point? The Indian Statue
What time of day?  Sunset
From what angle?  Straight on
What would be your choice of weather? Clear
Are you going to use panoramic mode?  Why or why not? Yes, it shows the vastness of the area
Where/How could you utilize leading lines/rule of thirds/blue hour/golden hour/etc? The lines have symmetry, and the golden hour will make the lgihting really good

What was your focal point? The Statue in the middle of the photo
What time of day?  Sunset
From what angle?  Straight ahead
What was the weather? Clear and Cold
Did you use panoramic mode?  Why or why not? Yes, It made the image more vast
Where/How did you utilize leading lines/rule of thirds/blue hour/golden hour/etc? The Golden Hour made the light look really good, but the lines weren't as good as I wanted

 CITYSCAPE: 

5 Tips:                                                                                                                              Capture the whole skyline with a wide lens                                                                
Look at leading Lines                                                                                                   
Look for Patterns                                                                                                          
See Bad Weather as an opportunity                                                                            
Don't be afraid to include pedestrians in the shot

From what angle?  Straight on
What would be your choice of weather? Clear
Are you going to use panoramic mode?  Why or why not? No, it makes it look more compact and crowded
Where/How could you utilize leading lines/rule of thirds/blue hour/golden hour/etc?  The golden hour cause light to bounce off the glass

Did you use panoramic mode?  Why or why not? No, the more compact focal point makes it look more dense, and city-like
Where/How did you utilize leading lines/rule of thirds/blue hour/golden hour/etc?  The light bounced off the glass but it wasn't quite "the golden hour"
